1000 fights? That is a LOT. Even wresting from 7 to 18 years old, I probably dont have 1000 matches. When you win a tournament you have 3 or 4 wins. once a week for the season.. so maybe wins 30 in a season. If you lose once and get 3rd place that boosts it to 5 wins in a tournament, so maybe 50 in a year forcing yourself to maximize your matches. Unless just a normal practice counts, he will have a rough time meeting that quota.
