I don’t understand why he would go so far to be honest, he has everything but respect from everyone, and yet he still chooses to assert dominance against his brother and the people supporting him.
I mean, he spent the last decade or two being put down and mistreated by them for simply existing. He even had to play dumb to ensure that they wouldn’t threaten his mother or try to kill him again before he was ready. So publicly shaming them to vindicate himself kinda makes sense. And I imagine it’d be extremely cathartic lol
