For instance, there’s an “average market price” which is what items are normally big for at auction, and also a “standard guild rate” which is how much it’d be worth if consumed in the Labyrinth (i.e. never been in a vial). The average market price of a Manticore’s Essence goes for about 50 million stones, but the standard guild rate is 32 million. Bjorn’s share was 20%, but he also got an additional customary 30% discount.
Adding both discounts together looks like this: 32,000,000 x .7(30% off) = 22,400,000 x .8(20% off) = 17,920,000 million (which is exactly what was shown).
