they handed him his blessings that high from the start so that he can literally save the planet by the time he is 16 so he literally only has 11 years from his baptism till he has to save the world so it does make sense in a way to give him all the power he needs from the get go and also let him power up even more through leveling as he gets older and kills more monsters .
