they said the standards were made by the first demon emperor or something like that, right? i have 3 theories:
1 – the so-called ‘standards’ were made like that on purpose as a test to see if anyone will ever realize the redundancies of those ‘standards’. as for what this ‘test’ is testing for, i have no clue. perhaps a position of power.
2 – the ‘standards’ were initially successful, however due to the adaptability of the human ‘heroes’ and the demons’ rigid belief in tradition, the demons were soon finding themselves in a great disadvantage (this may tie in with theory 1)
3 – the first demon emperor was just a massive edge lord and made the ‘standards’ because he thought they were the epitome of what a demon king should be like
4 – The worlds difficulty ratings are not quite right and the worlds that were conquered (Emperor included) were actually Very Easy to slightly below normal. This world probably is actually Normal Rating but has risen since repeated tries have failed and the inhabitants have learned and adapted.
I thunk its most likely 2, but this only applies to arien like what the other demons said that arien is the most difficult area(not knowing that the heroes exploited the demon kings there) the demons don’t know why it is difficult or have too much pride to know why it is impossible to conquer by any demon kings, cause if its 1 then most of the teachers are stupid then while if the mc did say that where is that so called demon who made that “standard”. Why didn’t he help mc then?

Yeah I agree a lot with option two as the most likely option but I would be really funny if option three was the reason 😂

4 (technically 5) – The guide was made by ancient heroes as a way for younger generations to easily defeat demons.
