Dudes character is making less and less sense over time. “I wanna do X, im gonna be x, but im not gonna learn ANYTHING about it or explore why i wanna do x or learn about the abilities that underpin x.” The author making him “a moody teenager” doesn’t fix all that. Its like in trying to make him not a munchkin, they went way too far and not only made him kind of annoying, but unbelievably ignorant.
