Usually, if anyone die, it is the leader responsibility, and they who chose to follow the lead have to accept the risk as well.
Although it really not the MC fault since nobody knew that holy knight would prioritize killing MC than the Demons, which is absolutely ridiculous. They knew what happened, but refuse to accept, and MC words are just adding oils to fire (Which i think it’s to reduce the senses of guilt on themselves and start blaming it on MC instead)
